Alisa Chauhan

Alisa graduated in 2017 from Cardiff University with a BSc in Dental Hygiene and Therapy. Previous to this, she was a trained dental nurse for many years.
Following graduation, Alisa had an article published in the Dental Therapists Journal about the impact of ‘fad diets’ on dental health.
Alisa has worked in a range of settings including private and NHS practices. She is now based in the Community Dental Services in Solihull, treating patients under Special Care who struggle accessing regular dental practices. this involves Alisa working at many schools and clinics across the area, as well as carrying out domiciliary visits to patients.
Due to this wide range of experience, Alisa is skilled at helping anxious patients and enabling them to feel comfortable during their treatment, as well as treating and preventing dental disease.
Outside of work, Alisa enjoys travelling and experiencing different parts of the world, as well as spending time with her friends and family.
