BDS University of Sheffield 2018 (GDC 278507)

Adam completed his Bachelors in Dental Surgery from the University of Sheffield, achieving honours awards in three consecutive years during his time there. He has since then, persevered to be the best he can be with outstanding results. Recent guidance from renowned specialists has given Adam a very versatile skillset in providing the best possible treatments for patients, which is still being pushed to new heights. However, Adams greatest asset to us, has always been his gentle side, specifically his love of building close relationships with patients and helping them feel at ease during treatment; ‘as though they are being treated by a close friend, relaxing and enjoyable!’. For this reason, Adam has always been admired by patients, especially those who are anxious. His approachable manner and chatty, friendly nature allows him to connect with his patients so that together, you can overcome your fear of the dentist and work towards a happier you.

Adam enjoys every aspect of dentistry with a particular interest in exciting new cosmetic treatments like Implants, Invisalign and Whitening. He believes everyone deserves their own unique beautiful smile and works on caring for his patients long term, providing extra evening and also weekend appointments to help fit around your busy schedule. Your satisfaction and comfort is what Adam puts first and he would love to be your dentist so he can learn about you and provide the best possible results for the perfect smile you deserve.

Before joining Scott Arms Dental Practice, Adam worked in Leeds, Yorkshire, where he also undertook various volunteering positions, such as with the Dentaid Homeless Van Project and Teeth Team school visits. He also joined a role in Cambodia providing mostly emergency dental care including treating children in a rural school and helping rebuild parts of the playground. One thing we love about Adam is his willingness to go the extra mile, to all members of the community, highlighted by his constant involvement in such schemes.

Outside of work, Adams interests include playing football (also a faithful PL fan), golf, tennis, going to the gym, skiing in the winter and more recently; yoga and meditation. He is also a very keen traveller having been to nearly 50 countries, including trips to help the disadvantaged in rural Malaysia and Nepal, helping villagers build basic amenities and teach English. Living in Dubai for 7 years has also added to this plethora of knowledge and understanding making Adam substantially open minded and ethical to anyone he meets. He loves meeting new people and hearing about new cultures and is also an avid animal lover.
