Ella Mynett
BSc Dental Hygiene and Dental Therapy University of Birmingham 2020 (GDC 289336)
I graduated from the University of Birmingham with a BSc in Dental Hygiene and Therapy where I gained valuable experience in treating a wide range of patients in different areas around Birmingham and within the Birmingham Dental Hospital. From these experiences I gained particular interests in treating anxious patients and children, helping them acclimatise towards treatments in a calm and relaxed environment and building their knowledge of achieving good oral hygiene.
Before studying to become a hygienist I worked as a Trainee Dental Nurse in Cardiff from the age of 16 where I found my love for helping and caring for patients as well as my love for teeth! Also while studying I worked as a Dental Nurse on the emergency services here at Scott Arms.
I would describe myself as a dedicated and caring individual that aims to help patients achieve their dental goals. I am passionate about educating and promoting good oral health as well as building trusting relationships with patients.
I am interested in furthering my post-graduate study into teeth whitening and facial aesthetics so I am able to offer a wider range of treatments to my patients and help them achieve a confident smile.
I am committed to patients needs so offer both early and late weekday appointments as well as working Saturdays.
Outside of work I enjoy visiting family back home in Wales and spending time with friends. I like keeping fit and travelling around the world and I am also a passionate Welsh rugby supporter. I am looking forward to meeting all my new patients and helping them achieve the healthy smile they deserve!
