Dr Laurie Stumper

Laurie completed his Bachelors of Dental Surgery at the University of Sheffield graduating with honours and receiving a distinction in his final clinical exams. Since graduating, he has worked in multiple practices in the UK and spent the last year in the oral surgery and restorative departments at Birmingham Dental Hospital providing specialist level, consultant led care. During this period, Laurie was chosen to present to leading experts in both oral medicine and oral surgery, and had the opportunity to continue his passion for education, teaching undergraduates at Birmingham Dental School. With a keen interesting in oral surgery, he is starting to incorporate implants into his daily practice. Currently enrolled on a certificate in contemporary restorative and aesthetic dentistry, he is able to offer the full compliment of restorative procedures. Additionally, he has completed his Diploma of Membership of the Joint Dental Faculties at the Royal College of Surgeons (MJDF RCS). He is confident in providing care in all areas of dentistry but has a particular interest in the management of patients with dental anxiety and the delivery of aesthetic functional dentistry.
Outside of dentistry Laurie is a keen sports person who enjoys a variety of team sports and can be found exploring the great outdoors with family and friends – either on his bike or a pair of skis!
